Within the framework of the Fast Track joint program between the UWED Academic Lyceum and Viadrina University (Germany), on May 16, 2025, in Tashkent, negotiations were held between O. Mannopova, Executive Director of the UWED Academic Lyceum, and S. Melcher, Coordinator of the Fast Track program at Viadrina University, regarding promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of improving curricula, expanding student and teacher exchanges, and organizing joint seminars and academic projects. Proposals were also made to make the future stages of the Fast Track program even more meaningful and effective.

During their visit to Uzbekistan, faculty members of Viadrina University organized a trip to the city of Samarkand.

Here, the German partners visited historical monuments such as the Afrosiyob Memorial Complex, Registan Square, the Shohi Zinda Complex, and the Amir Timur Mausoleum. They were deeply impressed by the unique pearls of Uzbek civilization, the national architectural style, and historical values.

As part of their visit to Uzbekistan, the Viadrina University faculty also toured Samarkand, where they visited historical sites such as Registan Square and the Amir Timur Mausoleum, which left them deeply impressed with Uzbek civilization.
