On May 27, 2025, at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the TEDxALUWED Youth event focused on the art of public speaking was held.

This event was organized according to the standards of the international TED conference and aimed to develop skills among students such as creative thinking in English, confident public speaking, and expressing their views on pressing social, psychological, and cultural issues.

During the conference, Academic Lyceum students Mohinur Rakhimova, Abduvosiq Akhmetov, Malika Erkinjonova, Behruzbek Yusupov, Zafarbek Akhmedov, Diyora Karimova, Saida Murotova, Samira Asqarova, Komronbek Ergashev and Madina Mahkamboyeva delivered speeches on various topics.

At the end of the event, all speakers received commemorative certificates. gratitude was expressed to the organizers -  Surayyo Tursunboyeva, English teacher of the Foreign Languages Department, and Samir Kamolov, the chairman of the Lyceum Student Council.

This event became an important initiative that encouraged students to openly and confidently express their opinions, increase self-confidence, and take a deeper look at social and cultural issues.
