On June 11, 2025, the graduation ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year graduates of the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) took place.

This year, 287 students graduated from the academic lyceum. Among them, 8 students received gold medals, 5 received silver medals, and 47 students completed their studies with "excellent" diplomas.

195 graduates obtained certificates confirming their level of foreign language proficiency, and 60 graduates received science certificates.

67 students completed their studies within the joint program with the Viadrina University of Germany, with 21 of them being admitted to Viadrina University on a grant basis.

 

31 students completed their studies within the joint program with the Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and the International Nordic University. Of these, 9 were admitted to the 2nd year of the "International Economics, Business Management" faculty of the International Nordic University with privileges, and 22 were admitted to the 1st year without exams.

The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of UWED, A. Umarov, Deputy Head of the Department of Personnel and Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Zakirova, UWED professors and teachers, and parents of the graduates.

During the ceremony, the UWED leadership presented gold and silver medals, as well as privileged diplomas to top-achieving graduates, and letters of appreciation to teachers who had shown dedication during the academic year.

The Executive Director of the Academic Lyceum, O. Mannopova delivered a speech providing information about the graduates' academic activities over the past two years. He wished all graduates success in their future endeavors and presented letters of appreciation to the parents of the most exemplary graduates.
