On April 5, 2024, a round table discussion on the topic "Amir Temur - our pride, our glory!" was held at the Academy of World Economy and Diplomacy in honor of the 688th anniversary of the birth of Sohibqiron Amir Temur. The event was attended by Khurshid Khudayqulovich Imamov, a junior scientific officer at the History Museum of Timurids of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He shared interesting information from the works of Arab historians Ibn Khaldun and Ibn Arabshah about the life path of Sohibqiron Amir Temur, the governance of the Amir Temur state, international relations, and meetings with the great ruler. He also provided fascinating facts about national identity, development in science, education, and cultural fields contributed by Amir Temur and Timurids. Additionally, he introduced information about the history of setting up the History Museum of Timurids, its exhibits, and collaboration with the museum to present a book prepared by museum specialists to the library of academic lyceum.
