On December 5, 2024, students studying under the joint program of the UWED Academic Lyceum and the Karelia University of Applied Sciences visited the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Sweden during their trip. A meeting was organized with R. Nurimbetov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Sweden. During the meeting, students received comprehensive information about the current state of relations between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as insights into Sweden's education system, culture, and arts.

Additionally, the students visited the Royal Palace Museum and the official residence of the Swedish monarch, further enriching their knowledge about this country.
