On January 10, 2025, in celebration of the 33rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day, the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organized a cultural and educational event titled "The Army of New Uzbekistan – The Nation's Pillar and the Pride of Our People."  The event was attended by professors and instructors from the Military Psychology and Pedagogy Department of the Armed Forces Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as athletes who honorably represented the nation at the "Paris-2024" Summer Paralympic Games in France.  Key speakers Akromjon Shohakimov, Doctor of Military Sciences and Lieutenant Colonel, and Sherzod Ravshanov, Head of a Division and Lieutenant Colonel highlighted the historical significance of the occasion, the current capabilities of Uzbekistan's Armed Forces, and emphasized that defending the homeland is a noble duty of every citizen.  Guljanoy Naimova and Ziyodakhon Isoqova, silver medalists in Para Taekwondo from the Paralympic Games, also addressed the gathering. They shared how their achievements were fueled by their unwavering love for the homeland and their desire to honor Uzbekistan on the global stage.  Following these, students from the Academic Lyceum recited patriotic poems, warmly congratulating attendees on the festive occasion.  The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative gifts to the esteemed guests, offered by the administration of the Academic Lyceum.
