On April 4, 2025, the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a spiritual and educational event titled "Amir Temur: Our Pride and Glory!" The event, which included faculty and student participation, commemorated the 689th anniversary of the birth of Sahibqiran Amir Temur, a prominent statesman, great commander, and founder of a strong, centralized state.

Abror Fatkhullayev, Deputy Director of Youth Affairs at the Academic Lyceum, opened the event with an introductory speech.

Following the opening remarks, students were shown a video highlighting the life and legacy of Sahibqiran Amir Temur.

Saidbahrom Azizov, a researcher from the State Museum of the History of the Temurids, provided comprehensive information to the students about Amir Temur's life, his policies as a prominent statesman, and his contributions to construction and development. Particular emphasis was placed on the development of science and scholarship under the rule of the Temurids during the Second Renaissance of the 14th and 15th centuries.

At the conclusion of the event, students performed theatrical presentations reflecting the life and achievements of Amir Temur. Traditional dances and songs also were performed.
