On November 7, 2024, students of the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy participated in a joint preventive event held in the UWED cinema hall on the topic "Cyber Crimes and Their Negative Consequences".

During the event, Doniyior Tursunov, Head of the Cybersecurity Department of Mirzo Ulugbek District in Tashkent, and Shokhrukh Qochqorov, Advisor to the Chairman of Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Turonbank", provided detailed explanations and information to the students regarding the fundamental concepts, types, and distinctive features of cybercrime, as well as cybercrimes occurring through social networks and incidents happening through online games.

It was particularly emphasized that many cybercrimes occurring in our country are often related to bank plastic cards, which cause material harm to citizens. Students were urged to be aware of this issue.

During the meeting, students received detailed answers to their questions of interest. Those who actively participated in the event were awarded souvenir gifts.
