On October 28, 2025, an important roundtable discussion was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, with the participation of Internal Affairs officers, on the topic of “Spiritual Threats in the Internet Space, Cybercrime, and Methods of Combating Them.”

The event was opened with an introductory speech by O. Mannopova, the Executive Director of the Academic Lyceum, who provided information about the purpose of the discussion. Also participating in the event were Senior Lieutenant J. Narzullayev, Inspector of the Crime Prevention Department in the field of Information Technologies at the Mirzo Ulugʻbek District Department for Coordinating the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies, and Senior Lieutenant Sh. Boymatov, Senior Inspector of Prevention for Mirzo Ulugʻbek District. They delivered a presentation on forming a conscious attitude among young people against various alien ideas, cybercrime, and the dangers of religious extremism spreading on the internet, and urged students to be aware of such threats.
