On December 11, 2025, a spiritual and educational event was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the theme “Protecting the nation’s gene pool and youth health: priority areas against drug addiction”.
This event was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, preventing drug addiction and other harmful vices, preserving the nation’s gene pool and strengthening the health of the future generation.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the Uzbek State University of Health Sciences S. Safoev, Director of the National Center for Drug Control under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Mamatov, Chief Narcologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z. Ashurov. At the event, experts provided detailed information about the negative impact of drug addiction on society and human health, its social, legal and spiritual consequences.  Also, issues of protecting young people from harmful habits, meaningful organization of their free time, and formation of a healthy lifestyle were discussed.
Students actively participated in the event and received detailed answers to their questions on the topic from experts. The event served to further strengthen the spirit of striving for a healthy life and respect for national and universal values ​​in the minds of young people.
