On January 9 of this year, a seminar for teachers was organized at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of “Foreign Philology” of the National University of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences H. Bakiyev.

The seminar was dedicated to the topic “Theoretical Foundations of Assessment of Reading Comprehension Competence”, where modern approaches to the formation and assessment of reading comprehension competence, international experience and assessment criteria were covered in detail.

During the event, the participants received detailed answers to questions of interest to them on the topic, exchanged views on the basis of practical examples. The seminar played an important role in increasing the professional potential of teachers.

It was noted that such scientific and practical seminars serve to further improve the quality of education.
