On April 8, 2026, a spiritual-enlightenment event titled “Amir Temur – Symbol of Justice and Power” was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and military commander Amir Temur.
The event was organized with the aim of educating the younger generation in the spirit of national values, strengthening their sense of historical memory and patriotism, as well as promoting a deep study and popularization of the figure of Amir Temur and his rich legacy.
The event was attended by Dr. Nargiza Urinovna Khidirova, Lecturer at the Department of History at the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University and Doctor of Historical Sciences. Her informative lecture attracted the attention of all participants. In her speech, she provided a detailed overview of Amir Temur’s just policies in state governance, his efforts to build a centralized and powerful state, and his unique strategic approaches in military art. Particular emphasis was placed on the continued relevance of Sahibkiran’s idea “Strength lies in justice” for the present day.
Another honored guest at the event was the actor of the Muqimi Musical Drama Theater and Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Aleksandr Bekjonov. His artistic performances, stage scenes, and expressively recited excerpts added a unique spirit and artistic charm to the event.
At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the importance of deeply studying the legacy of Amir Temur, inserting it in the minds of young people, and further strengthening spiritual and educational work in this direction.
