On May 8, 2026, a group of students from the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy visited the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main goal of this visit was to ensure that students became familiar with the activities of the parliament, the law-making process, and the system of public administration. During the visit, the students got acquainted with the meeting hall of the Oliy Majlis, the activities of committees, and the parliamentary procedures.
      They were also provided with detailed information about the activities of senators and deputies, the stages of development, discussion, and adoption of draft laws. The students also received interesting information about the reforms being implemented in our country, youth policy, and innovations in the field of education.
     During the meeting, the students actively participated in the meeting with questions of interest to them and received detailed answers from experts. This served to further strengthen their political and legal knowledge.
Such visits are important in broadening the worldview of young people, strengthening their sense of patriotism, and forming an active civic position in the future. Such spiritual and educational events are regularly organized at the Academic Lyceum.
