Clause 10 of the “Program of measures to improve legal culture in society in 2026–2027”, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 202 dated April 24, 2026, sets out the task of systematically and continuously organizing demonstrative lessons and training sessions in educational institutions aimed at strengthening the feelings of patriotism and civic responsibility in the hearts of students, educating them in the spirit of respect for state symbols, conveying the meaning of age-appropriate rights and duties, as well as forming a spirit of loyalty to the Constitution and laws.
In order to ensure the implementation of this task, open classes on the topic “Your idea, Your right, Your power!” were organized by teachers of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy from October 5 to 8, 2026.
Demonstrative classes were organized separately in Uzbek and Russian groups, and the classes were conducted by Shahnoza Abdullaeva in the Uzbek groups, and Guzal Khairullina in the Russian groups.
During the classes, students were provided with detailed information about the role of the Constitution and laws in society, the rights and duties of citizens, respect for state symbols, the concepts of patriotism and civic responsibility.
Question-and-answer sessions, exchange of views, discussions and interactive classes were organized with students on the topic, and special attention was paid to strengthening their legal knowledge and independent thinking skills. Explanations were also given on how young people should deeply understand their rights and duties, respect the law, and take an active civic position in society.
These demonstrative lessons served to raise the legal awareness and legal culture of students, form a spirit of respect for the Constitution and laws, and strengthen the sense of loyalty to the Motherland and civic responsibility.
Such promotional activities aimed at increasing the legal literacy of young people will be continued regularly at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
