On March 24 of this year, an event dedicated to the content of the draft constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was held at the Academic Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

  The event was attended by teachers of the history of the Academic Lyceum M.Nurmukhamedov and S. Boltaev held a presentation on the topic ”the updated Constitution in the new Uzbekistan".

  During the presentation, detailed explanations were given about the content of the draft law and the significance of the new norms introduced into it.

  The updated Constitution emphasized that the norms on the priority of human rights and freedoms, social and legal support of the population are being strengthened.

  Speaking about this, in particular, it was noted that the constitutional bill expands the rights and opportunities for education, and also introduces norms according to which teachers should have a constitutional status.

  In particular, the provisions on granting academic freedom to higher educational organizations, free higher education at the expense of the state on a competitive basis, support of non-governmental educational organizations enable the younger generation to improve their lives, realize their dreams and aspirations, find a place in life and personal development by acquiring modern specialties.
